Keeping control
|
|
Whilst the majority of people do gamble within their means for some it can spiral out of control. In order to help you keep
control we would like you to remember the following.
|
- Gambling should be entertaining and not seen as a genuine way of making money
- Avoid chasing losses
- Only gamble what you can afford to lose
- If you need to have a break from gambling you can send an email to quitnow@globet.com
requesting to be excluded from Globet.
- If you need to talk to someone about problem gambling then contact GamCare

GamCareis the National Association addressing the social impact of gambling. Globet.com works with GamCare to help develop
policies and practices that address problem gambling in accordance with their Social Responsibility Code of Conduct.
If you are concerned that gambling may have taken over your or someone else’s life then the following questions may help you
find out.
|
Do You Have a Gambling Problem?
|
|
Ask yourself the following questions:
- Do you stay away from work, college or school to gamble?
- Do you gamble to escape from a boring or unhappy life?
- When gambling and you run out of money, do you feel lost and in despair, and need to gamble again as soon as possible?
- Do you gamble until your last penny is gone, even the bus fare home or the cost of a cup of tea?
- Have you ever lied to cover up the amount of money or time you have gambled?
- Have others ever criticised your gambling?
- Have you lied, stolen or borrowed just to get money to gamble or to pay gambling debts?
- Are you reluctant to spend 'gambling money' on anything else?
- Have you lost interest in your family, friends or interests?
- After losing, do you feel you must try and win back your losses as soon as possible?
- Do arguments, frustrations or disappointments make you want to gamble?
- Do you feel depressed because of your gambling?
|
|
The more you answer 'yes' to the above questions, the more likely you are to have a serious gambling problem.

Players are identified at the time of registration and the time wagers are made using a Personal Identification Number and Password. Players must be at least 18 years of age,
or the legal age to gamble in their applicable jurisdiction, whichever is higher. Any player that provides inaccurate or dishonest information about his or her age will forfeit
all winnings to which the player may otherwise be entitled and may result in civil proceedings or criminal prosecution.

Self Exclusion
|
|
If you believe you are gambling excessively and you need to take a break, Globet offers a self-exclusion facility. Customers who make use of the self-exclusion policy will have their
account blocked for a period of six months, during which time it will not be possible to reactivate the account for any reason. Throughout this period Globet will do all it can to
prevent new accounts being opened by you and will take all necessary measures to make sure you do not receive any marketing material.
Once the self-exclusion period has ended, you may contact our Customer Service Department and ask them to lift the self-exclusion order. If no application to revoke the exclusion is
received, then the exclusion stays in place.
To use our self-exclusion option, send us an email at the following email address: quitnow@globet.com or call us on the following number: +442082464801
